A Bit About Me
I started my career at a design institute in Korea, where I spent nine years as a design art tutor.
I moved to New Zealand in 2016 and worked as a graphic art tutor and freelance designer.
One of my proudest accomplishments is that I have recently launched my Watercolour class on a virtual hobby platform in South Korea.
I have resided in New Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, since September 2021.

I believe design is at the heart of everything - from the way we communicate and engage with one another socially.
I also believe design is fundamental to solving business problems and helping to fill the gaps between where we are now and where we want to go.

To mark its Canada-wide transition to paper straws in late 2021 to reduce single-use plastics in its restaurants, McDonald’s Canada has turned the remaining plastic straws into trays that serve as canvases for Canadian artists.
To help bring this project to life, I have worked alongside 14 other artists across the country to create original works of art, focusing on sustainability and the environment, which has been applied to the trays that serve as a canvas.
